You can use the VARIABLE DATA page to enter data in a similar fashion to Manual Data Entry (MDE) in DataSight.

LEVEL 3 displays the Level 3 that was selected on the Safety page.

    • Access Clear.
    1. Tapping the condition will select it, which will change the background colour to Yellow and accept the condition.
    2. To cancel the selection, tap the button again which will change the background to Grey.
    3. Selected conditions will be populated in as Variable values in the DataSight database.
    4. Button responses will be recorded as either a 'Yes' or 'No' value depending on whether the condition has been selected or not.

    1. Each Variable has two fields for entry.
    2. VARIABLE NAME fields are for the data to be entered for that Variable.
      1. Tap this field to display the on-screen keyboard for entering data.
      2. The on-screen keyboard will default to the data type for the selected variable.
      3. If a DataSight Standard was selected for the current DSApp Configuration, the background colour of the Variable name will change to red, highlighting to the user that the entered data is outside the bounds defined by the Standard and may require further action depending on your organisation's QA/QC processes.
    3. FLAG is the flag to be assigned to the data for that specific Variable.
      1. Tap this field to select the flag to assign to the data being entered for that Variable.
  5. Tap UNDERTAKE CALIBRATION (Yes/No) to enter whether you are also performing a calibration on the EQUIPMENT selected above.
      1. Tap this field to display the list with either Yes or No.
      2. Tap the appropriate response to select it.
  6. Tap NEXT.
    1. If Yes was selected for UNDERTAKE CALIBRATION, this will proceed to Equipment Calibration.
    2. If No was selected for UNDERTAKE CALIBRATION, this will proceed to the next page as determined by the page selections for the current configuration.
    3. If the background of the NEXT button turns red, then one of the above items has not been entered correctly. Please review your entries and selections and try again.
