Set Pages

You can set the viewable pages in a DSApp configuration. You can modify the pages selected, or the mapped sample code variable or the standard, as required.

 

View Options

You may enable or disable either the Collect Data and View Data tabs on the Home page.  By default, the tabs are enabled.

  • Tap the line displaying Show Collect Data Menu to disable the ability to enter data with this configuration. The tick changes to a cross. To enable the tab, tap again.
  • Tap the line displaying Show View Data Menu to disable the ability to view data with this configuration. The tick changes to a cross. To enable the tab, tap again.

 

Specify the Pages in Collect Data

Tap the button(s) under DSAPP PAGE SELECTION to specify the pages required.  At the present the customizable choices are:

SAMPLING, VARIABLE DATA, EQUIPMENT CALIBRATION, CONSTRUCTION DETAILS, ON DEPARTURE.

  • The button's background will change to Yellow to show the page has been selected.
  • If you do not select a page, then that page will not be available when using your configuration to collect data.
  • The SAFETY page is mandatory for all configurations, therefore, this page does not have a selection button available.
  • To cancel a selection, tap the button again which will change the background colour to Grey.

 

Link the Sample Code to a DataSight Variable

If you select the SAMPLING page, you need to link the Sample Code output to a DataSight Variable.

  1. Tap the SAMPLING page button to select it. The button's background will turn Yellow, and the DATASIGHT VARIABLE field will become available below the button.
  2. The DATASIGHT VARIABLE field allows you to select the Variable in your DataSight database that will be populated with the Sample Codes collected.
  3. Tap this field to display a list populated with available Variables, then tap the Variable to select it.

 

Use a Standard to Validate Data Entry

If you select the VARIABLE DATA page, you can optionally apply a DATASIGHT STANDARD to immediately show values that do not meet your designated criteria upon entry.

  1. Tap the VARIABLE DATA page button to select it. The button's background will turn Yellow, and the DATASIGHT STANDARD field will become available below the button.
  2. Tap this field to display the list populated with the available Standards, then tap the Standard to select it.
  3. This field can be left blank if you do not want to apply a Standard, or there are no Standards available.

 Next, you will need to save the configuration.

At any stage, you can click CANCEL at the bottom of the page to return to the Home page.
