Select MDE Template

When creating MDE templates in DataSight for DSApp users, you will need to consider:

  • The tasks the DSApp user will be completing in the field.
  • The Variables the user will need available.
  • The Levels the user will need available.

Each MDE Template for DSApp MUST have assigned Variables AND Levels.

MDE Templates without Levels assigned to them will NOT be available within DSApp.

Upon selection of the MDE Template, DSApp users should review these assignments to ensure they will be able to correctly link their data.

 

Select the Template

  1. Tap the Collect
  2. Tap the MDE TEMPLATE field to display a list of available DataSight Manual Data Entry (MDE) Templates.
  3. Tap the required template to select it.
  4. Review again the last update of the linked DSApp Report.
    1. (Optional) Tap the Update button to refresh the selected file stored on the device.
  5. Tap the Start Collecting button to proceed to the Safety

Note

You must select an MDE TEMPLATE otherwise you cannot leave the Collect Data page.
