Main Panel

The Main panel of DataSight Administrator is where you view detailed information for various DS Administrator features and databases as well as undertake administrative functions.

DataSight Database

New Database

Create a new DataSight Microsoft SQL database.

Database Management

View the list of DataSight Databases on the SQL server and detailed information about these databases. Each SQL server database has at least two files, one for data and one for transaction log, while DataSight has several database tables in which to keep data. Within Database Management, you can also set the time zone for the database. You can also delete databases.

Database Maintenance

Conduct standard Microsoft SQL database maintenance functions such as Backup, Reindex, and Shrink.

Manage Upgrades

Manage your DataSight upgrade pathways.

User Management

View information on DataSight users and security groups. You can also create and delete users and groups.

 

DSWeb Database

New DSWeb Database

Create a new DSWeb database for the administration of DSWeb.

Delete DSWeb Database

Delete an existing DSWeb database.

DSApp Data

DSApp

Implement DSApp functionality within your DataSight database. (Only available once you have purchased the DSApp feature upgrade and re-authenticated your DataSight Administrator license).

 

To close any tab in the Main Panel click on the Close Icon   in the upper right hand corner of the panel.
