Launch Service Manager

Service Manager can be run from the Desktop or the Start Menu. It can also be minimised to a tray icon where the Service is run away from your view.

 

Launch from the Start menu

  1. Click Start on your taskbar.
  2. Then click DataSight Service Manager. The Service Manager window will open showing the service status.

 

Launch from a Desktop icon

  1. Go to your desktop.
  2. Then double-click on DataSight Service Manager. The Service Manager window will open showing the service status.

 

Minimise

  • Click Minimize to remove the Service Manager window from view. The service status can be found in the hidden items on the Windows Taskbar, shown as to indicate that the DataSight service is running.
  • To reopen the Service Manager, double-click on the Service Manager icon in the Windows Taskbar.

 

Close

  • To close the Service Manager, click . The Service Manager will resume with the same Status when you next open.

 

Note

You should not pin the DataSight Service Manager to your Windows Taskbar, as the service running minimises to the hidden items.
