Importing calculated fields from Microsoft Excel files

Importing calculated fields from Microsoft Excel files

Reported: June 16, 2017.

Version(s) affected: DataSight 3.0 and 3.1.

Issue: During an import routine, if values in nominated fields of a file have been calculated using Microsoft Excel formulae, they appear empty when previewed and do not import. This issue however does not cause exceptions.

Workaround: Copy values out of the calculated fields as raw data and paste into new fields; then import the new fields by mapping them to desired variables in DataSight.

Resolution: Fixed in DataSight 3.2.
