DSApp Configurations

DSApp Configurations

When DSApp is initially deployed to your DataSight system using DataSight Administrator, a Default DSApp Configuration is generated.  If this your organization's first usage of DSApp, we highly recommend importing this configuration to DSApp, as this will help guide you through your first DSApp implementation.

DSApp Configurations are used to link files exported from your DataSight database; namely a DSApp Report file and, if required, a Datasheet file.

Configuration files contains all the necessary file linkages to:

  • Configure, save and update the Connection Settings used by DSApp to connect to your FTP Server;
  • Link the files exported from the specific DataSight database to where ultimately your DSApp data will be imported;
  • Configure the amount of time in minutes that the automatic Refresh of the DSApp Report and DSApp Datasheet will be performed;
  • Set the Pages you will use during the collection of data, linking standards and sampling variables as required.

 You can save multiple configurations to a device for use.

 If no configuration file exists in DSApp, the configuration field is blank.  You will need to set a configuration before proceeding.
