DataSight Database Management

Manage your Databases

  • Click Database Management in the DataSight Database group of the DataSight Administrator Ribbon. The View & Delete Database window appears in the Main panel.

View a Database

  1. Select a database from the list of DataSight databases. You will be able to see the data created, and the location and size of the database.
  2. Scroll through the Table Names and Row Counts in the database details grid to see the DataSight tables and how many records they contain.

Set the Database Time Zone

  1. Select a database name from the list of DataSight databases.
  2. Under the Database TimeZone column, select the Time Zone for your database from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the Save button to save the Time Zone settings.

Delete a Database

Note

The deletion of a database from the SQL Server is not a reversible process. You have must be sure you wish to perform this function before you proceed.
  1. Click to check the Delete checkbox(es) against any database that you wish to delete.
  2. When you close the panel, a confirm dialogue will display, asking if you wish to delete the database. Click Yes.
