Connect to a database
- In the Configuration Group on the Service Manager Ribbon, click Connections. The Connections window will open in the main panel.
- Click Add New and wait for a period while the Create Connection window is opened.
- Enter the details for the:
- Server
- Username (Note: this is your SQL Server username and password)
- Password
- Click Populate Database to load applicable databases for the chosen server if required.
- Click Save.
- The database connection will be shown as Active by default in the Connections window. Click the Active Check Box to toggle between Active or Inactive.
- Click Save to save your connection configurations.
Add another database connection
- Click Add New and wait for the connection window to open.
- Configure the database settings as described above. You cannot connect to the same database twice.
Delete a database connection
- Highlight your database connection in the Connections window list.
- Click Remove to delete the database connection. You will not be prompted at this step, so ensure you have the correct database connection row highlighted.
