Configure General Settings
Configure or modify Global Settings
- In the Configuration Group on the Service Manager Ribbon, click General. The Global Settings window will appear in the main panel.
- Enter the Global Service Interval (e.g. 1 minute, 10 minute etc).
- Enter the username and password for windows authentication. This username and password is used by the DataSight Service for accessing shared folders in a network.
- Click Test Network Path to test your access to the shared network file. A network path window opens. Specify a network path and click Connect to authenticate your credentials.
- Enter the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) settings:

- Port
- SMTP User
- SMTP password
- Click Test Email Connection to send a test email and check your connection.
- Click Save.

By default, Service Manager will send a test email to the SYSTEM@sentinelpl.com.au. To send the email to a different address, simply change SYSTEM@sentinelpl.com.au to the desired email address.
